MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Twins have announced that today’s (Saturday, May 20) 1:10 pm game against the Kansas City Royals has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up tomorrow, Sunday, May 21, with the makeup game beginning 30 minutes following the scheduled 1:10 pm game against the Royals at Target Field. Fans holding tickets for the May 21 1:10 pm game will be able to stay for both games of the doubleheader. Both games of the doubleheader will be broadcast on FOX Sports North and Treasure Island Baseball Network.
Additionally, the batting practice pullover giveaway item presented by CenturyLink will be given away at the gates prior to the first game of the traditional doubleheader on Sunday (gates open at 11:00 am).
Fans holding tickets to today’s (May 20) postponed game:
Utilize the value paid for the ticket toward a ticket purchase for any future Twins regular season game in 2017 (including the May 21 doubleheader, subject to ticket availability). Unused tickets may be exchanged only at the Target Field Ticket Office located on Target Plaza off 7th Street.
Tickets for today’s game that are part of the Spring Ballpark Pass are no longer valid and fans can use the May 21Ballpark Pass ticket for admission into the May 21 doubleheader.
Tickets for the postponed game are not subject to refunds.
