Lynx Collier named Western Conference Player of the Week.

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The WNBA today named Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier the Western Conference Player of the Week for games played August 19 through August 25. The Player of the Week award is the first of her career. During the week, the 6-foot-1 forward led all scorers and rebounders in two of the three contests while leading all players in steals in each game during the week, averaging 18.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.33 steals per game during that stretch. Lynx Sign Guard Kenisha Bell and Forward Asia Taylor

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed guard Kenisha Bell and forward Asia Taylor. Per team policy, terms of the deals were not disclosed. Bell, who was originally selected by the Lynx in the third round (30th overall) of the 2019 WNBA Draft appeared in two preseason games for Minnesota. The former Golden Gopher finished her senior season at the University of Minnesota ranked fifth in team history in scoring average (18.1), seventh in assists (371), eight in free throw percentage (75.1%) and ninth in free throw attempts (438).
