BUFFALO, N.Y. – For the second straight season, the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs are the NCAA National Champions. Top-seeded and top-ranked UMD dominated from start to finish, scoring once each period, to blank fellow No. 1 seed and second-ranked Massachusetts, 3-0, Saturday night at KeyBank Center in the NCAA Men’s Ice Hockey National Championship game. Gopher men’s hockey beats Notre Dame to game split of weekend series

MINNEAPOLIS – The Gopher Hockey program closed out the Big Ten regular-season schedule with a 2-1 victory over No. 16 Notre Dame on Saturday at 3M Arena at Mariucci as Minnesota locked up a winning record in conference play for the fifth time in six years of Big Ten play.
