MINNEAPOLIS (Feb. 5, 2023) – The University of Minnesota (9-14, 2-10 B1G) women’s basketball team came up short against RV/24 Illinois (18-6, 8-5 B1G) 68-62 on the road on Sunday afternoon at the State Farm Center. Alanna ‘Rose’ Micheaux secured her ninth double double of the season, registering 24 points and 11 boards while Mara Braun added 11 points on 3-of-5 shooting from beyond the arc. MINNEAPOLIS – Minnesota women’s basketball closed out the 2020 calendar year with a 75-54 setback against No. 19/18 Indiana Wednesday afternoon at Williams Arena.Sophomore Jasmine Powell and graduate transfer Laura Bagwell Katalinich each reached double figures for the Golden Gophers (1-4, 0-3 Big Ten), scoring 12 and 10 points, respectively. Minnesota Lynx Sign Shae Kelley

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL – The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed forward Shae Kelley to a seven-day contract. Kelley, a 6-1 forward from the University of Minnesota, was selected in the third round, 35th overall by Minnesota in the 2015 WNBA Draft. She played in two preseason games with the Lynx this season.
