  Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today the signing of their first round pick, infielder Keoni Cavaco from Eastlake High School in Chula Vista, CA, whom they selected with the 13th overall pick in the 2019 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft. Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Ryan Eades from Triple-A Rochester. He appeared in 16 games for the Red Wings this season, going 2-2 with a 5.68 ERA (31.2 IP, 20 ER), 12 walks and 39 strikeouts but recently posted a 2.45 ERA (14.2 IP, 4 ER) with five walks a nd 16 strikeouts in his last eight games. Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have returned designated hitter Nelson Cruz from his rehab assignment at Single-A Ft. Myers and have reinstated him from the 10-day Injured List. Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed right-handed pitcher Michael Pineda on the 10-day Injured List with right knee tendinitis.  Pineda, who made the start last night vs. the Milwaukee Brewers, has started 11 games for the Twins this season, going 4-3 with a 5.34 ERA (59.0 IP, 35 ER), 11 walks and 50 strikeouts. Twins put Nelson Cruz on injured list

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed designated hitter Nelson Cruz on the 10-day Injured List with a left wrist strain (retroactive to May 14).  Cruz has hit .270 (34-for-126) with seven home runs, nine doubles and 22 RBI over 35 games with the Twins this season. Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have selected the contract of right-handed pitcher Austin Adams from Triple-A Rochester.  Adams, 32, appeared in 11 games (1 start) for the Red Wings, going 1-1 with a 4.50 ERA (18.0 IP, 9 ER), one save, six walks, 28 strikeouts and an opponent batting average of .229.  The Montgomery, Alabama native was originally drafted by Cleveland in the fifth round of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft and was signed by the Twins as a minor league free agent in August of 2018.
