St. Cloud State still #1 on heels of Saturday comeback

St. Cloud State’s men’s hockey team is still the top ranked team in the nation in the latest USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Men’s College Hockey Poll. Down 4-2 with time running out in the third period against last place Colorado College, St. Cloud State scored two goals in the final four minutes to send the game to overtime

before Patrick Newell got the gamewinner on a feed from Robby Jackson at 3:53 of the extra session, vaulting the Huskies to a 5-4 win and their 21st victory of the season.
