Lucia out as Gopher Hockey coach

University of Minnesota Athletics Director Mark Coyle and Head Coach Don Lucia today announced that Lucia will step down as Minnesota’s head men’s hockey coach, pending the approval of the University’s Board of Regents later this week. Coyle and Lucia have agreed that he will remain with Gopher Athletics as special assistant to the athletics director through June 30, 2019. “Gopher Hockey is not just a college hockey program, it’s a cultural institution in the state of Minnesota, built on more than 90 years of success and tradition. Cretin-DH gets #1 seed in Boys 4A Hoops tourney

Cretin Derham Hall earned the number one seed in this year’s Class 4A Boys State Basketball Tournament, and will open up against unseeded Wayzata on Wednesday at 10am at Target Center. Vikings make it official, sign QB Kirk Cousins

Eagan, MN (March 15, 2018) – The Minnesota Vikings announced today the long anticipated  signing of  former Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins. Cousins joins the Vikings after spending six years with Washington. Twins sign Lance Lynn to one year deal

Ft. Myers, FL – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have signed right-handed pitcher Lance Lynn to a one-year contract worth $12 million.
