Lynx Sign Head Coach Cheryl Reeve to Multi-Year Contract Extension

The Minnesota Lynx today announced the team has signed Head Coach Cheryl Reeve to a multi-year contract extension. Reeve has also assumed the role of General Manager and has announced the following updates to the team’s basketball operations staff for the 2018 season: Clare Duwelius has been promoted to Assistant General Manager while Assistant Coaches Shelley Patterson and Walt Hopkins have agreed to multi-year contract extensions. Twins sign lefty Zach Duke to one year deal

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have signed left-handed pitcher Zach Duke to a one-year contract. Duke, 34, has played 13 seasons in the major leagues with Pittsburgh, Arizona, Washington, Cincinnati, Milwaukee, Chicago-AL and St. Louis.  He spent 2017 with the Cardinals, going 1-1 with a 3.93 ERA (18.1 IP, 8 ER), six walks and 12 strikeouts in 27 games.  He missed most of the first four months of last season recovering from “Tommy John” surgery on his left elbow, a procedure he had done in October of 2016. Four Vikings selected to Pro Bowl

Eden Prairie, MN (December 19, 2017) – Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr, defensive end Everson Griffen, cornerback Xavier Rhodes and wide receiver Adam Thielen have been selected by players, fans and coaches to the 2018 NFL Pro Bowl. Barr and Griffen each earned their third trip to the Pro Bowl, while Rhodes received the recognition for the second time. Twins sign Michael Pineda to two-year deal

Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have signed right-handed pitcher Michael Pineda to a two-year contract worth $10 million. Pineda will earn $2 million in 2018 and $8 million in 2019.
