MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (April 23, 2017) — In their first home match since dispatching Real Salt Lake 4-2, MNUFC held the visiting Colorado Rapids scoreless in front of 17,491 fans to earn the team’s first clean sheet in MLS. A heavily possession-based match, each goalkeeper stopped three shots. Unfortunately for the Rapids, the Loons took four shots on goal, enough to gut out a 1-0 win to kick off their first homestand of the season. Twins option Mejia; put Haley on DL

Minneapolis–St. Paul, MN – The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have optioned left-handed pitcherAdalberto Mejía to Triple-A Rochester. Additionally, the club has placed right-handed pitcher Justin Haley on the 10-day disabled list with right bicep tendinitis. Mejía made three starts for the Twins, going 0-1, 5.79 ERA (9.1 IP, 6 ER) with eight walks and 10 strikeouts in 2017. Haley made five relief appearances, posting one save with a 4.15 ERA (13.0 IP, 6 ER) with three walks and 11 strikeouts in 2017.
